At the beginning this group of lay people was helping the mission in Timanan with Fr. Aliki. One day after the mass at the Carmelites Fr. Larry Sabud invited them to sit down and talk about their group and gave them a name. This was the time they introduced their group as another branch of the Marist Laity in the Philippines.
Through the initiative of Fr. Larry, PIMM generously helps the prison ministry in a special way. Currently, they are serving to those people in need, especially our brothers and sisters behind bars, through their monthly visitation and financial assistance. In addition to it, they support the detainees of Davao City Jail by their monthly Nourishing Program, dental services and they also reach out to victims of calamities , poor communities of Davao in a hidden and unknown way.
