On Sunday, November 6, 2016, the Marist Fathers-District of Asia celebrated a thanksgiving mass for the people of Dumalag. Fr. John Larsen, SM the first superior of the Marist community presided over the mass while Fr. Chris Ganzon, SM gave the homily. The mass was held at San Nicolas Chapel.

In his homily, Fr. Chris informed theimg_4288 people that 15 seminarians who have lived or have started formation in Dumalag have become priests. He thanked the people for their prayers, support and help during the formation years of these priests. He encouraged them to keep the faith, pray for each other and strengthen and deepen their good words and deeds. He also asked the people to continue praying for all the Marists all over the world.

The Marist community in Dumalag started way back in 1994 as a Novitiate house for young men who aspired to be Marist missionaries. After 22 years, we have left the place and settled now in our new formation house in Tulip Drive, Juna Subdivision.

We will surely miss the place but most of all the good people because of their goodness, love and support.  We pray that the Lord continue to bless them and their own families. Mary, our mother of Mercy, guide and intercede for them always. Never let them separated from you and your Son!dumalag-5

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much Dumalag people for the wonderful years. We are always grateful for the good and happy memories with you!
