District of Asia welcomes Fr Denis Revi SM

Chris welcomes DenisOn Sunday 21st September, Marist priests and seminarians gathered at Colin District House for a liturgy and meal to welcome Fr Denis Revi SM to Davao City.

Denis ReviOriginally from the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu, Fr Denis comes to the Philippines from the Marist International Theologate in Rome where he was a member of the formation team. Next year, he will become assistant to the novice master at the International Novitiate here in Davao.

Thirty-six years of age, Fr Denis is a gifted linguist, speaking several European and Pacific languages. He hopes to add Cebuano to the list, and so will spend the next couple of months at language school while residing with the Marist community at Bajada.

Maayong pag-abut, Denis! We pray blessings upon you as you prepare for your new assignment.

  • We would love your email address, Father. We went to Vanuatu a few years ago and helped do up the hall below. Father Savelio Tevaga, who went to Rome said you were a great help to him. You showed our daughter, Louise around the museum which the Marists had.
