Australian Marist Priest Fr. Andrew Murray, SM arrived in Davao City in 17th November. He was tasked by the SM General Administration to do a Review of Formation.
Fr. Andrew was welcomed by Fr. Pat Devlin, SM at the District House. He will also visit other Marist communities around Davao. He will spend a substantial time at the English Speaking International Novitiate in Eden, Toril, Davao City, meeting with the formators as well as the Novices.
Fr. Andrew is a professor of the Catholic Institute of Sydney. His research interests are Philosophy, Politics in Pacific, Religion and Culture. His philosophical education was broadly historically based with the theses of Thomas Aquinas on Epistemology. He also has interests towards the political and rhetorical work of Aristotle.
