Three teachers and 14 students from Catholic University School (CUS), Ireland are here in Davao City, Philippines for their annual personal immersion in the different apostolates and ministries in Mindanao. These are group of students and teachers who want to see the ‘the other world’ and experience life with the poor and abandoned. They spend their time with children and sick people giving them hope, joy and love. They do teaching, painting, and other manual works where their talents and skills can be of used.
On 9 June, they were welcomed at the Marist Fathers District House in Davao city. Present where the Lay Marists and the Marist sisters as well the staff of the Centers where the boys will be working. After a simple welcome liturgy, a lovely meal was prepared and a short and spontaneous entertainment ended the gathering.
